Renaud scores twice in 4-0 win at Albertus Magnus

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Junior MacKenna Renaud scored a pair of first-half goals to help the JWU (Providence) women's soccer team to a 2-0 win at Albertus Magnus College Wednesday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) at Celentano Field.

Sophomores Grace Sheehan and Lulani Haslinger added second-half tallies for the Wildcats, who remained unbeaten in conference play at 6-2-0 (5-0-0 GNAC). Senior Leah Bragaw turned aside three shots to improve to 3-1-0 thus far in 2024.

Renaud's second and third goals of the season came 3:33 apart and sent the Wildcats into halftime up a pair. Sheehan stretched the JWU lead to 3-0 with her fourth goal of the season at 52:32 before Haslinger's first of the season with less than three minutes remaining capped the scoring.

The visitors outshot the Falcons 18-4 and held a 10-1 edge in corner kicks.
