Megan Salsinha registered a goal and an assist in the JWU (Providence) field hockey team's 3-0 win over Lasell University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Saturday afternoon at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Emma Ferrara also scored for the Wildcats (2-3, 1-0 GNAC), who outshot the Lasers 34-6 to earn their first GNAC won of the season. Senior

Rayne Millett were each credited with an assist, and both senior
Haley Budenas and sophomore
Hannah Geil racked up a defensive save.
The Wildcats scored the only goal they would need 11:07 into the contest when Ferrara knocked a feed from Geil into a wide open net. Bangs doubled the lead in the third on a redirection of a shot from Salsinha at 33:20 before Salsinha buried her first career goal at JWU seven minutes later.
Junior
Rebecca Johnson recorded two saves to pick up her first win of the season.
