Mike Catuosco went 10-of-12 at the X and collected 17 ground balls in a 7-3 win for the JWU (Providence) men's lacrosse team over the University of Saint Joseph (CT) Wednesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Jack Davis picked up a goal and an assist as the Wildcats (6-3, 4-0 GNAC) handed the Blue Jays their first conference loss of the season (8-3, 3-1 GNAC). Junior

Jack Donnelly and
Jacob Graham, also found the back of the net as JWU held USJ scoreless for the first 42:30 of the contest.
The Wildcats opened the scoring nine seconds into the contest and built a 6-0 halftime lead behind a pair from McInnis and a goal and an assist from Davis. The Blue Jays got two back in the third before McInnis' fourth tally pushed the JWU lead to 7-2 with less than seven minutes remaining in regulation.
Senior goalie
Chris April stopped 11 shots to improve to 6-3 on the season. Davis and Donnelly paced JWU with four cased turnovers while McInnis notched five ground balls.
