Wildcats pick up seventh conference win with 22-0 shutout of Falcons

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Junior Emma Glyman scored her first two collegiate goals in a 22-0 win at Albertus Magnus College Tuesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's lacrosse action at Celentano Field.

Junior Madeleine Gould led the offense with nine points on six goals and three assists, while junior Neely Connor and sophomore Izzy Babb each scored four goals and added an assist as the Wildcats improved to 9-4 on the season (7-1 GNAC). Junior Isabella Nugent, meanwhile, racked up a career-high 15 draw controls while Connor led the visitors in both ground balls (five) and caused turnovers (five).

Glyman – the 2022 GNAC Goalkeeper of the Year and 2023 GNAC Second Team pick – played the first three quarters in goal before being lifted in favor of senior Emma Crowley, who recorded two saves. A total of eight different student-athletes registered at least one point for JWU, including senior Maris DiBeneditto (two goals), Nugent (two goals), E. Crowley (one goal), and junior Mila Kuilan (one goal).
