BEVERLY, Mass. – Freshman Teagan Garfield scored her first collegiate goal for the JWU (Providence) women's hockey team in a 5-1 loss to Endicott College Saturday night in Conference of New England (CNE) at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Graduate student Leah White stopped 46 shots for the Wildcats (4-6-0, 4-5-0 CNE). Senior Jianna Truppi and junior Allyson Barry collected assists on the goal, and freshman Kailin Kane finished the afternoon with a team-high eight shots.

The Gulls struck for two in the opening period before the Wildcats cut their deficit in half with 3:27 remaining in the third. Endicott – who outshot the Wildcats 51-23 – responded with three goals in the third, including two by Maggie Lynch to finish off a hat trick.
