Brianne Foley filled the stat sheet with 19 points, 15 rebounds, five assists in a 67-50 win for the JWU (Providence) women's basketball team over Curry College Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action at the Wildcat Center.

Grace Jaffray poured in a game-high 25 points to go with seven boards, three dimes and a pair of steals as the Wildcats closed out the first half of the 2024-25 campaign with a 9-1 record, which marks their best start since the 2015-16 season, when they opened the season with wins in 15 of their first 16 outings. Foley, meanwhile, also handed out five assists to tie for the team lead with freshman
Isabella Suero, who collected nine points and six rebounds.
Both teams struggled in the early going as each shot below 30 percent and committed double-digit turnovers in a first half which finished with the game deadlocked at 22. The Wildcats kicked it into gear in the third, outscoring the visitors 23-11 behind 10 points from Jaffray and seven from Foley, to take a 45-33 lead. JWU shot 53 percent in the deciding quarter (53 percent) and also crashed the glass, snaring 17 boards compared to eight for Curry.
Sophomore
Alexa Lora finished her afternoon with eight points, four rebounds and three assists while the fifth starter, junior
Mikayla Caruso, went for eight rebounds, four points, and two steals.
