Roel Figueroa and
Azariah Harrison combined to score 22 points for the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team in a 100-51 loss at Central Connecticut State University Sunday afternoon in an exhibition at Detrick Gymnasium.
Figueroa scored 13 points to go with two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal while Harrison collected nine points, one rebound and one steal for the Wildcats, who shot 36 percent and knocked down eight 3-pointers. Freshman
RJ Jones knocked down two from downtown and finished with eight points, three boards, two dimes and one steal.
Junior
Izaiah Shaw-Glen filled the stat sheet with seven points, three steals, three rebounds, and one assist as JWU was outrebounded 42-19 by a Blue Devils squad which connected on 64 percent of their shots (39-of-61).
