PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Freshman
Grace Jaffray scored a game-high 33 points in a 97-52 win for the JWU (Providence) women's basketball team against Bard College Sunday morning in non-conference action at the Wildcat Center.
The Blue Hill, Maine native went 12-of-25 from the field and 8-of-10 from the charity stripe as the Wildcats moved to 4-0 for the first time since the 20215-16 campaign, when they opened the season with seven-straight wins.

Brianne Foley filled the stat sheet with 20 points, 10 boards, four steals and three dimes in 28 minutes while freshman
Mia Cruz scored 12 points to go with three boards, three assists and two steals. JWU scored 47 points off 31 turnovers, held a 48-38 edge on the glass, and shot 44 percent from the field.
Freshman
Gabriela D'Ambrosio knocked down three of her four attempts from downtown and finished with nine points while classmate
Isabella Suero dropped in eight points and snared six boards. Sophomore
Alexa Lora handed out five assists and scored four points.
Jaffray scored 22 in the first half as the Wildcats opened up a 48-25 lead, scoring 33 points off turnovers and shooting 45 percent from the field (18-of-40). Eight points from both Foley and Jaffary in the third pushed the lead to 72-37 after three, and a pair of triples from freshman
Kacilyn Belmont in the fourth wrapped up the win.
