Wildcats win streak snapped at two with loss at Suffolk

EAST BOSTON, Mass. – Graduate student Leah White recorded 23 saves for the JWU (Providence) women's ice hockey team in a 4-0 loss at Suffolk University Friday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

Freshman Kailin Kane won 14-of-21 in the face-off circle while classmate Ava Morgan led the Wildcats (2-2-0, 2-1-0 CNE) with five shots. The Wildcats outshot the Rams 27-23 and went 0-for-2 with the extra skater.

The Rams (2-3-0, 2-1-0 CNE) broke a scoreless tie at 5:04 of the second on a goal from Sam Molind before striking for three goals in a span of 6:22 in the third to pull away.
