WATERVILLE, Maine – The JWU (Providence) women's volleyball team secured a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) wins on Saturday in Maine, defeating Dean College 3-0 and St. Joseph's (ME) 3-1 at Alfond Forum.

Peyton Oliver sparked an offensive which posted a .397 hitting pct. with 10 kills. Freshman and two-time GNAC Rookie of the Week
Nevaeh Arnold filled the stat sheet with 16 assists, five kills, and three digs while junior
Ajie Jagne tallied seven kills, and freshmen
Finleigh Benkwitt and
Annie Jerome each added five kills. Freshman
Bailey Koopman recorded six blocks (four solo) to go with three kills.

Oliver notched 14 kills and six digs, but it was the combined 17 kills from a trio of freshmen – Benkwitt (six), Arnold (six), and Jerome (five) – which proved to be the difference in the match. Arnold also handed out 22 assists while classmate
Sophia Diphilippo dished out 12, junior
Sierra Nausieda racked up a team-high 13 digs, and Koopman had five solo blocks. Freshman
Skylar Winchester was credited with nine digs and three kills as JWU moved evened its record at 9-9 (3-1 GNAC).
