Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Wildcats roll past Blazers in three sets

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Freshman Nevaeh Arnold notched nine kills and 16 assists for the JWU (Providence) women's volleyball team in a 3-0 win at Elms College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Wednesday night.

Graduate student Peyton Oliver picked up 12 kills and 11 digs as the Wildcats won 25-10, 25-16, and 25-20 to improve to 8-2 in conference play and 14-10 overall. Junior Sierra Nausieda led all student-athletes with 12 digs while freshman Skylar Winchester registered seven to go with eight kills.

Junior Ajie Jagne helped anchor the defense three blocks to go with three kills, freshman Finleigh Benkwitt threw down four kills, and freshman Sophia Diphilippo handed out 16 assists.

JWU closed the match with a .306 hitting pct. as Benkwitt hit .667, Jagne hit .500, and Oliver went off at .445.
