Men's basketball rolls past Colby-Sawyer, 84-65

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore Izaiah Shaw-Glen poured in a career-high 27 points in the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team's 84-65 win over Colby-Sawyer College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Saturday afternoon at the Wildcat Center.

Graduate student Aireus Raspberry filled the stat sheet with 22 points, 10 assists, eight boards, and three steals for the Wildcats, who shot 56 percent from the field – including 50 percent from downtown (8-of-16). Junior Jonah Phang chipped in with 13 points and six boards while classmate Josh Zangerle chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.

The Chargers sank 45 percent of their field goal attempts and went 12-of-20 from the line. The visitors were outrebounded 37-24.
