Women's hockey shutout at No. 9 Norwich

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The JWU (Providence) women's ice hockey team was defeated by No. 9 Norwich University 4-0 Friday night in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) women's action at Kreitzberg Arena.

Senior netminder Leah White stopped 29 shots for the Wildcats, who were outshot 33-16. Sophomore Kylie O'Keefe paced JWU with five shots while graduate student Sara Cruise won 14-of-21 face-offs and juniors Madi Fox and Reece Middendorf, along with sophomore Allyson Barry, all blocked two shots.

The Cadets went 2-for-5 on the power play and killed off all four Wildcat opportunities.
