ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The JWU-Providence men's ice hockey team was defeated by No. 11 Norwich University 4-0 Friday night in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) men's action at the New England Sports Village.

Jake Inzirillo turned aside 53 shots for the Wildcats – including 26 in the second period. Senior
Kadyn Fennell and sophomore
Brendan Doyle each had three shots for the home team while senior
Noel Parker, along with freshmen
Chris Alexander and
Brad Crook, all blocked three shots.
The Cadets scored four times in the second period, three of which came on the power play. Cooper Bertrand and Bryan O'Mara each collected a goal and an assist as Norwich outshot the Wildcats 57-17.
