Tow's third-period goal give JWU 1-1 tie with Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Sophomore Zoe Tow scored the game-tying goal midway through the third period in JWU-Providence's 1-1 tie at Connecticut College in non-conference women's ice hockey action Tuesday evening at Dayton Arena.

Senior netminder Leah White turned aside 41 shots for the Wildcats, who are 2-0-1 in their last three games. Tow and classmate Kylie O'Keefe led JWU with three shots each while junior Cassidy Rockwood blocked five shots.

The Wildcats entered the third down 1-0 and being outshot 26-5 before Tow scored on a breakaway to tie the score. The Camels finished the night with a 42-13 edge in shots.
