NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The JWU-Providence men's basketball team was defeated by Albertus Magnus College 80-65 Tuesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) at Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.

Aireus Raspberry paced the Wildcats with 22 points to go with eight boards and four assists in 40 minutes of action. Junior
Josh Zangerle added 16 points and six assists while sophomore
Izaiah Shaw-Glen netted 11 pints.
JWU shot 41 percent from the floor (26-of-63) and committed 23 turnovers which led to 24 Falcon points. Albertus Magnus held a 44-32 edge on the glass and knocked down 42 percent of its shots (28-of-67).
The Falcons drained 21-of-33 from the charity stripe (64 percent) while the Wildcats were 8-of-15 (53 percent).
