PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU-Providence women's soccer team was defeated by Connecticut College 2-0 Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
The loss snaps the Wildcats (6-1-3) nine-match unbeaten streak and marks the first time they have allowed two goal this season.
The Camels outshot the home team 12-11 on the day and struck for two goals in a span of 1:42 in the second half. Emma Quilty broke the scoreless tie with a long lofting shot from the lower right corner at 75:43 that fell over the head of junior goalkeeper
Carly McCrumb. Jamie Scarpantonio doubled the CC lead at 77:25 when she blasted a feed from Mya Johnson past McCrumb.

Emily DeRoehn led all student-athletes with four shots. McCrumb finished the match with five saves while Sarah hall registered five for the Camels (4-3-0).
