Wildcats runs past Pride, 12-0

WESTON, Mass. – Senior Kaitlyn Freeman and freshman Rayne Millett each scored twice in JWU-Providence's 12-0 win over Regis (MA) College Tuesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Regis Stadium.

Graduate student Margaret Johnson chipped in with a goal and an assist for the Wildcats, who outshot the Pride 36-0 and held a 17-0 edge in penalty corners. Twelve different student-athletes collected at least one point for JWU, who led 5-0 at halftime and 8-0 entering the fourth.

Juniors Izzy Ward and Haley Budenas, sophomores Zofia Bangs, Samantha Blahut and Kameron Marando, and freshmen Elaina Fseisi and Ava Pontes all scored goals for the Wildcats. Freshman Sophia Brea did not have to record a save in goal to move to 4-0 on the season.
