PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Alana Kessler picked up her first collegiate hat trick in Johnson & Wales (RI) University's 22-5 win over Albertus Magnus College Wednesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's lacrosse action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
Senior Taina Gamory and sophomore Madeleine Gould each scored four times for the Wildcats (9-2, 9-0 GNAC) while seniors Ally Wilson and Maris DiBeneditto both netted three goals. JWU scored the first nine goals of the game and led 16-2 at halftime.
The Wildcats – who outshot the Falcons 39-10 – received nine draw controls from senior Margaret Johnson and three caused turnovers from junior Katie Sloan.
