PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore Madeleine Gould scored six goals in Johnson & Wales (RI) University's 19-1 win over Anna Maria College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's lacrosse action Wednesday afternoon at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Junior Maris DiBeneditto added four goals and an assist while senior Margaret Johnson collected a goal, four assists, and 11 draw controls for the Wildcats, who remained unbeaten in conference play at 3-0 (3-2 overall). Senior Ally Wilson and freshman Izzy Babb each racked up two goals and an assist, and senior Taina Gamory went for a goal and three assists.

JWU outshot the AMCats (1-5, 0-3 GNAC) 32-4 and forced 20 turnovers, seven of which were credited to Gamory. Sophomore Emma Glyman got the start in goal and recorded one save in 15 minutes of action to earn her third win of 2023.
