CHICOPEE, Mass. – Junior Maris DiBeneditto scored six goals in Johnson & Wales (RI) University's 20-5 win at Elms College Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's lacrosse action at Leary Field.

Senior Ally Wilson added four goals and an assist for the Wildcats (1-1) while junior Katie Sloan picked up a hat trick and senior Taina Gamory handed out six assists and also found the back of the net. Gamory also led JWU with six ground balls and senior Margaret Johnson won eight draw controls and caused three turnovers.

The Wildcats outshot the Blazers 37-10. Sophomore Emma Glyman was credited with three saves.
