Leah White made 46 saves in JWU-Providence's 3-2 loss to Bowdoin College Saturday afternoon in non-conference women's ice hockey action at the New England Sports Village.

Kylie O'Keefe found the back of the net for the Wildcats, who were outshot 49-22 and managed to kill off seven of Bowdoin's eight power-play chances.
JWU grabbed a 2-1 lead late in the first with goals 1:05 apart. Sophomore
Zoe Tow let go of a shot that was stopped, but O'Keefe knocked in the rebound for her first of the season. Cruise followed with a wrister over the glove hand of Polar Bears netminder Sarah Peterson.
Following a scoreless second, the Polar Bears outshot the Wildcats 18-6 in the third and collected the tying goal with 10:15 remaining in regulation. Maddie Montanaro potted the eventual game-winner 2:11 later.
