Brent Rickett picked up a hat trick in JWU-Providence's 6-4 win at Salem State University Tuesday night in non-conference men's hockey action at
Rockett Arena.
Rickett scored three times in the opening 34:10 of the contest added an assist for the Wildcats, who have already equaled their win total from last season through 10 games in 2023-24. Sophomore
Brendan Doyle collected a goal and an assist to push his team-leading goal total to 10 while senior

Cam Martin reach racked up a goal and an assist.

netminder Jacob Perrin turned aside 39 shots to win his first game of the season.
The Wildcats led 2-1 after one behind goals from Doyle at 8:36 and Rickett at 18:01. Both teams scored three times in the second as Rickett potted two goals and Martin netted his first of the season for the visitors. Shandley scored the only goal of the third at 12:30 to pad the JWU lead.
Both teams closed the night 1-for-3 with the man advantage.
