ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Freshman Brynn Leahy scored her first collegiate goal for the JWU-Providence women's ice hockey team in a 4-1 loss to William Smith College Saturday afternoon in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action at the New England Sports Village.

Classmates Anna Luecht and Hannah Tsouvalas picked up their first collegiate assists on the goal for the Wildcats, who were outshot 37-25 – including 13-5 in the third period. Sophomore Lauren Powers made her first start of the season between the pipes and stopped 33 shots.

Emma Faso and Brianna Felice each found the back of the net twice for the Herons, who scored twice in a span of 3:45 in the third to pull away.
