Men's hockey defeated by No. 2 Hobart

GENEVA, N.Y. – The JWU-Providence men's ice hockey team was defeated by No. 2 ranked and defending NCAA Division III national champion Hobart Saturday afternoon in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action at The Cooler.

The Wildcats trailed 1-0 after one before allowing three goals in the second and four in the third. The Statesman outshot JWU 72-26.

Senior Jaxon Friedman recorded 51 saves before being lifted in the third in favor of junior Jacob Perrin, who finished with 13 saves. Senior Ryo Namiki blocked a team-high five shots.
