JWU upended by No. 7 Elmira in men's hockey

HORSEHEADS, N.Y. – The JWU-Providence men's ice hockey team fell to No. 7 Elmira College 6-2 Friday night in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Friday night at the Murray Athletic Center.

Freshman Brad Crook scored his first collegiate goal for the Wildcats, who also received a goal from sophomore Davis Bone and assists from senior Brent Rickett and junior Kadyn Fennell.

Senior netminder Jaxon Friedman turned aside 43 shots as JWU was outshot 49-35. Bone and senior Maxime Dumas each blocked two shots while Bone won 13-of-21 face-offs.
