Leah White recorded 20 saves between the pipes for the Wildcats (1-6-0, 1-4-0 NEHC), who received assists from graduate student
Sara Cruise, and juniors
Reese Middendorf and
Haylee Owen.
JWU trailed 2-0 before goals from Henault at 9:03 of the second and Luecht at 14:41 tied the game at two. The Vikings (2-5-0, 1-2-0 NEHC) scored the go-ahead goal with 2:01 remaining in the third.
Salem State went 1-for-3 on the power play. The Wildcats failed to convert on a pair of chances with the extra attacker.
