Brendan Shandley collected a goal and two assists in JWU-Providence's 5-4 loss to Babson College in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) men's ice hockey action at the New England Sports Village.

Joe Freeman all racked up a goal and an assist as the Wildcats (0-5-1, 0-4-1 NEHC) scored four PP goals and outshot the Beavers 31-25. Senior

The Wildcats led 2-1 after one behind PP goals from Shandley and Freeman – the first of his collegiate career. JWU struck for two more power-play goals in a span of 1:19 in the second to extend its lead to 4-1.
Babson got one back before the end of the second to cut its deficit in half before tying the game with nine minutes remaining in regulation. Sophomore Ryan Murphy polished off a 2-on-1 in overtime for the winner.
