Aireus Raspberry scored a team-high 21 points in JWU-Providence's 84-69 win over Salem State University Tuesday night in non-conference men's basketball action at the Wildcat Center.
Raspberry also snared eight rebounds to go with four dimes and three assists for the Wildcats (1-1), who shot 8-of-17 from downtown (47 percent) and outrebounded the Vikings 41-35. Junior
Josh Zangerle pulled down a team-leading nine boards to go with 17 points, five steals, and four assists

Izaiah Shaw-Glen netted 13 points while freshman
Ammiel Mumford filled the stat sheet with eight points and seven boards in 17 minutes off the bench. Junior
Silas Sawtelle connected on all four field goals and finished with 10 points in eight minutes.
JWU shot 52 percent in the first half and led by 16 at the break behind 10 from Zangerle, nine from Raspberry, and eight from Shaw-Glen. The lead swelled to as many as 18 in the second half and the Wildcats finished the night having trailed for a total of :28 seconds in the contest.
