PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Freshman Ava Pontes scored a pair of goals in JWU-Providence's 5-0 win over Albertus Magnus College Wednesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) field hockey action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Graduate student Margaret Johnson, along with junior Darian Shepherd and sophomore Kameron Marando, also scored for the Wildcats (10-0, 6-0 GNAC), who outshot the Falcons 46-2. Freshman Sophia Brea did not record a save in moving to 10-0 on the season; she was relieved by sophomore Rebecca Johnson at halftime.
