Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer cruises past Sharks, 10-1

BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore Kylie Schmidt scored a pair of goals in JWU-Providence's 9-1 win at Simmons College Wednesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Complex (GNAC) women's soccer action at the Daly Field Athletic Complex.

Classmate MacKenna Renaud and freshman Lulani Haslinger also found the back of the net twice for the Wildcats, who outshot the Sharks 39-2 and improved to 13-2-3 on the season (13-0-0 GNAC). The goal total was the highest for JWU since scoring 12 times against Rivier last September.

Senior Emily DeRoehn, junior Angelina Carrion, sophomore Lauren Moriarty, freshman Jessica Lee all scored goals for JWU, which held a 2-1 halftime lead before blowing the game open in the second half.

Junior Leah Bragaw got the start in goal for the Wildcats and recorded one save to earn her fourth win of the season.
