Angelina Oliveira scored a pair of goals in JWU-Providence's 4-2 win at Rivier University Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's soccer action at Merrill Field.

Kylie Schmidt also scored for the Wildcats (14-2-3, 14-0-0 GNAC), who have secured the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament with one match remaining. JWU – which received one save from junior starting keeper
Leah Bragaw – outshot the home team 29-5.
The Wildcats scored the only goal of the first half at 22:30 when Schmidt collected her fifth marker of 2023 off a feed from DeRoehn. Less than two minutes into the second half, DeRoehn converted a penalty kick to double the Wildcats lead before the Raiders knotted the score at two on a pair from Kaylee Magoon.
Oliveira's ninth goal of the season was set up by DeRoehn at 79:59 and proved to be the GWG. Her second goal of the match 1:01 later held as an insurance marker.
