Wildcats defeat Bulldogs, 4-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior Angelina Oliveira scored a pair of goals – including the game-winning goal early in the first half – in JWU-Providence's 4-0 win over Dean College Wednesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's soccer action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Senior Juliana Abramovich and sophomore Lauren Moriarity also found the back of the net for the Wildcats, who improved to 11-1-3 on the season (11-0-0 GNAC). The Wildcats outshot the Bulldogs 43-0.

Oliveira opened the scoring at 11:15 as she scored off a corner kick from senior Angelina Carrion. She doubled the JWU lead seven minutes into the second half before tallies from Abramovich's first goal of the season and Moriarity's third capped the scoring.

JWU junior netminders Leah Bragaw and Carly McCrumb split time in goal; Bragaw earned the win to move to 4-0-1 on the season.
