PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sophomore Brian Miller scored the game-tying goal in the final minute of play to help the Johnson & Wales (RI) University men's soccer team earn a 1-1 tie at Emmanuel (MA) University Wednesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Clemente Field.
The Wildcats (3-1-2, 1-0-1 GNAC) found themselves trailing by one with time winding down before classmate Conner Elliott found Miller for his second goal of the season at 89:09. JWU – which outshot the Saints (2-1-2, 0-0-1 GNAC) by an 8-6 margin – received one save from senior goalkeeper Jacob Friedman.
