NASHUA, N.H. – Senior Jonathan Baker, along with sophomores Brian Miller and Tony Gutierrez, each scored their first collegiate goals in Johnson & Wales (RI) University's 5-0 shutout of Rivier University Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's soccer action at Joanne Merrill Field.
Sophomore Conner Elliott and freshman Carlos Andrade also buried goals for the Wildcats, who moved to 2-1-1 on the season heading into Sunday's showdown with WPI. JWU outshot the Raiders (1-1-0) by a 23-1 margin as senior Jacob Friedman needed to make just one save to earn his second shutout of the season.
