Of Note:
JWU fell behind 1-0 in the first inning before EJ Leone was able to even the score with an RBI groundout in the top of the second inning. A three-run double to left center in the bottom of the third for the Seahawks proved to be the deciding factor in the contest pushing them ahead 4-1. The Wildcats had two outs and the bases loaded in the top of the seventh when Griffin Snyder collected an RBI for the third straight game when he was issued a walk. JWU was unable to capitalize from there and were held to the 4-2 final.
Senior Kyle Cutler pitched five innings of scoreless relief for the Wildcats, facing 23 batters and striking out three while allowing just four hits. Classmate Armani Henderson was the lone Wildcat to pick up a multi-hit game in the setback.
