Of Note:

The Wildcats pounced on the Hawks early in game one, scoring eight runs in the top of the first with seven straight batters reaching base consecutively. Shortstop Julia Huzi collected a pair of RBI on a single to right in the 1st only to stroke a double to left in the 2nd that plated two and gave the visiting Wildcats a 10-0 lead after two innings. The Hawks slowly chipped away but were only able to grab six runs, three off of JWU starting pitcher Summer Ramundo, who collected her fifth win of the season in just her fourth start.

It was a low scoring affair in the nightcap as the Hawks were able to collect one unearned run on three hits off of first year pitcher Sage Borkowski. With one out and the bases loaded in the 7th, senior Olivia DiGiacomo was able to lift a pitch to left that scored pinchrunner Kayla Prior and tied the game. First baseman Talia Smaller stepped in and sent a single up the middle the plated two runs and gave the Wildcats the 3-1 edge. Livia Feole pitched two scoreless innings to earn her first victory of the season in the circle.
