The Johnson & Wales Men's Soccer Team took down the Albertus Magnus Falcons on Wednesday night, improving to 9-3 (6-2 GNAC), while the Falcons fell to 8-3-1 (6-1-1 GNAC).

The Wildcats broke the deadlock in the first half through Chuckie Tenbusch (Williamsburg, Va.), who's header found the back of the net off of a corner from Ricky Africo (North Providence, R.I.) , taking a 1-0 lead which they held into the halftime break.

The Wildcats added a second goal through senior JP Rioux (Stony Point, N.Y.) who's shot into the bottom corner rang the post and rolled back into the net, off of a cross from Conner Elliot (Mansfield, Mass.).  Elliot took on two defenders towards the end line and found Rioux in the box for the assist.

The Wildcats threatened once more, but were unable to find the back of the net before the end of the match, taking the victory 2-0.

Johnson & Wales next game falls on Saturday in Newton, Mass. against Lasell, starting at 3:00pm.
