Current Occupation – Senior Manager – Private Client Services at Ernst & Young

Family Updates (spouse and/or kids) – Married in 2016 to Emily.  10 month old Daughter Maeve.

Job Responsibilities – I support ultra-high net worth individuals, families, and business owners with their tax compliance/planning, wealth transfer planning, and philanthropic goals.  Primarily focused in the financial services space serving hedge and private equity fund partners and managing directors.  

Notable Experiences – Competing in 2009 NCAA DIII Golf Championships in Port St Lucie, Florida.  Having the opportunity to be on Coach Parente's staff for a few years after graduation. 

How did JWU help prepare you for your current position – Being a student-athlete is a unique experience.  It is a very busy schedule between practice, school-work, etc.  I think time management is crucial in being able to optimize your performance in both the classroom and athletics.  You'll find this critically important as you move into your career as you'll need to be able to prioritize multiple demands, projects, etc. 

Favorite JWU memory(ies) – Too many to name!  The competition of being a student-athlete is great but you'll realize as you move onto the next stage of your life that the memories that really stick with you are the small things.  Going to practice with your buddies, traveling to tournaments, hanging around the athletic department (golf chat with Booth and Roache!). 

Advice for current student-athletes – Get involved!  JWU provides a great launching pad and provides a ton of opportunities – it is just up to you to take advantage of them.  Make connections, join a club, network, etc.  You'll be happy you did as it will be hugely valuable as you move into your career.  Don't forget to have a little fun too!
