Box Score 2 BOSTON – The Johnson & Wales University men's volleyball team showed on Saturday that it belongs in the conversation for the league title. The Wildcats defeated host Wentworth, 3-1, (25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-22) after losing a tight 3-1 (25-14, 20-25, 21-25, 21-25) decision to Rivier

Of Note:
The win over Wentworth snapped a 14-game losing streak. JWU"s last win versus the Leopards came on April 7, 2012.
Against the Leopards, Johnson & Wales was composed down the stretch. In JWU's three set wins, Wentworth committed seven errors in the final five points compared to just one by the Wildcats.
Sanjae Holloway got one of his game-high 18 kills to close out the first set. He just missed out on a double-double with nine digs.
JWU hit .262 while limiting the hosts to a .185 rate.
Johnson & Wales was firing on all cylinders in the first set against Rivier, hitting .409 while holding the Raiders to -.176. A Jonny Trail kill in the third and fourth sets pulled the Wildcats within two points, but JWU couldn't pull out the set.
The Wildcats out-hit the Raiders, .195 to .183, but the service line was the difference. Rivier had four more aces (9-5) and committed four fewer errors (10-14).
