Box Score The men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (19-25, 12-25, 19-25) decision against Rivier in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest on the road on Tuesday evening.
Johnson & Wales was led by junior Shawn Kennedy (West Barnstable, Mass.) with 10 kills and four digs while sophomore J.J. Bessette (Coventry, R.I.) tallied 20 set assists in the loss for the Wildcats.
Aaron Almario paced Rivier with 11 kills and five blocks while Steve Vesintin notched 30 set assists in the victory for the Raiders.
With the loss Johnson & Wales falls to 11-16 for the season and 6-5 in the GNAC while Rivier improves to 20-11 and a perfect 10-0 in league play. The Wildcats will return to action on Thursday, April 4th when they travel to Emerson for a GNAC contest at 7:00 p.m.
