Junior Shawn Kennedy (West Barnstable, Mass.) was named to the all-tournament team after leading the men's volleyball team to a 2-2 record at the Vassar Invitational over the weekend.  On Saturday, JWU dropped a 3-0 (13-25, 22-25, 12-25) decision against Nazareth before wrapping up the tournament with a 3-0 (15-25, 17-25, 13-25) win over NYU Polytechnic.

In the loss to Nazareth, Johnson & Wales was led by Kennedy with seven kills and six digs while sophomore J.J. Bessette (Coventry, R.I.) tallied 19 set assists for the Wildcats.

Kennedy once again paced JWU in the victory against NYU Polytechnic, tallying 10 kills and three digs while Bessette had 26 set assists in the victory for JWU.

Johnson & Wales is now 11-15 for the season.  The Wildcats will return to action on Tuesday, April 2^nd when they travel to Rivier for a GNAC contest at 7:00 p.m.
