Box Score The men's volleyball team posted a 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-18) victory against Albertus Magnus in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest on the road on Tuesday evening.
JWU was led by sophomore Matt Jenkins (Damascus, Md.) with 13 kills and nine digs, while fellow J.J. Bessette (Coventry, R.I.) dished out 30 assists in the win for the Wildcats.
Glenn Johnson (Newington, Conn.) led the Falcons with 10 kills in 24 tries, while Dennis Waibel (Bethlehem, Conn.) registered 20 assists as in the loss for the Falcons.
With the win Johnson & Wales improves to 9-13 for the season and 6-4 in the GNAC while Albertus Magnus falls to 8-11 on the year and 0-9 in league play. The Wildcats will return to action on Friday-Saturday, March 29th-30th when they travel to the Vassar Invitational.
