Men's Volleyball Drops Two At Springfield Tri-Match

The men's volleyball team dropped a pair of decisions against nationally ranked opponents on the road on Saturday, falling to No. 2 Springfield 3-0 before dropping a 3-1 decision against No. 13 Emmanuel.

In the setback against Springfield, JWU was led by junior Josh Baker (North Kingstown, R.I.) with seven kills while freshman John Bosch (West Palm Beach, Fla.) had 18 set assists in the setback.  Sophomore Patrick Robidoux (Barrington, R.I.) had five digs for the Wildcats.

For the loss to Emmanuel, the Wildcats were led by sophomore Dan Struebing (Coventry, R.I.) with 12 kills while Bosch had 42 set assists in the loss.

Johnson & Wales is now 1-3 for the season and 0-2 in the GNAC.  The Wildcats will return to action on Thursday, February 9th when they travel to Emmanuel for a GNAC contest at 7:00 p.m.
