The men's volleyball squad dropped a 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-10) decision against #11 Rivier in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest at the Muldoon Center on Tuesday evening.

Senior Eric Minnich (Concord, Calif.) led the way for Johnson & Wales with four kills and two blocks while sophomore Curtis DelValle (Billerica, Mass.) added 13 set assists and five digs in the setback for the Wildcats.

Jared Androzzi paced Rivier with six kills and two digs while Steve Visentic added 18 set assists and three digs in the victory for the Raiders.

With the loss Johnson & Wales is now 8-13 overall and 5-7 in the GNAC while Rivier improves to 28-8 on the year and 11-1 in league play.  The two teams will have a rematch on Saturday, March 26th when Rivier, the top seed in the tournament hosts the fourth seeded Wildcats in the semifinals of the GNAC Championship, starting at 11:00 a.m.
