Randolf Thurman begins his fourth season as an assistant coach with the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team in 2025-26.

A 2019 graduate of Dean College, Thurman spent three seasons as a member of the Bulldogs men’s basketball program. He appeared in 67 games for Dean (41 starts) and averaged 7.8 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 2.5 apg, and 0.9 spg.

Thurman’s best season came as a junior in 2017-18, when he started 23 of the 27 games he appeared in and averaged 10.6 ppg, shooting 49.8 pct. from the field and 43.2 pct. from downtown. He scored a career-high 23 against Elms on January 16, 2018.

Thurman is a native of Swampscott, Massachusetts who attended William & Monson Academy.
