Gabby Colace begins her second season as an assistant coach with the JWU (Providence) softball team in 2027.
In the Wildcats first season as a member of the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2026, Colace helped guide JWU to a 20-16 season (13-7 CNE) and the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament. The Wildcats closed the regular season on a 10-game winning streak and extend their streak of 20-win campaigns to five.
Colace appeared in 20 games over parts of two seasons as an active member of the JWU softball program, collecting eight hits and eight RBI. The Franklin, Massachusetts native and criminal justice major was a three-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Academic Team pick.
