Brent Petrowski begins his first year as the Manager of Fitness and Recreational Programming at Johnson & Wales University in 2026-27.
Petrowski returns to his alma mater after spending the previous academic year as the Director of Athletics at Saint John Paul High School in Hyannis, Massachusetts. He managed all team travel, scheduling, and budgeting for the Lyons athletic programs while also managing equipment needs and facility maintenance.
Petrowski cut his teeth in collegiate athletics at Bryant University, where he spent a year-and-a-half as an athletic facilities and operations associate (2021-22). He constructed and executed contracts with outside organizations and also oversaw a staff of student workers at both Bulldog varsity athletic events and recreational programs.
In late 2022, Petrowski accepted the Athletic Operations Coordinator position at Tabor Academy in Marion, Mass. He oversaw the scheduling of interscholastic athletic contests for more than 30 athletic programs at Tabor, maintained and balanced a comprehensive athletic equipment and supply budget, and oversaw all travel and game logistics.
Petrowski coached hockey across various levels around New England, including the prep, midget AAA and junior hockey ranks, and previously served as head coach of the Bridgewater Bandits USPHL elite junior team. He played collegiately at Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut before finishing his undergraduate degree at JWU.
Petrowski received his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management before snaring his Master of Science in Sport Leadership from Endicott College.
