One of the greatest student-athletes in the history of JWU (Providence), Marg Johnson joined the Wildcats women’s lacrosse coaching staff prior to the 2024 campaign and helped them capture the sixth Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship in program history.
Johnson was a two-year member of the women’s lax program and graduated No. 3 in draw controls (237) and t-No. 10 in caused turnovers (49) in program history. A two-time GNAC All-Academic Team pick (2022-23), she was named to the GNAC Second Team in 2022 and GNAC Third Team in 2023. Johnson capped her career with 61 points (42-19-61) in 39 games.
Also a key member of three GNAC Championship field hockey teams at JWU, the Bear, Delaware native graduated with a degree in public health.
