Jordan Moretti begins her third season as an assistant women’s basketball coach at JWU (Providence) in 2026-27.
The 2025-26 campaign was a banner one for the Wildcats as they captured the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship in their first season as a member. JWU rolled to a 15-1 conference mark and defeated Western New England in the CNE Championship at the Wildcat Center on February 21. Grace Jaffray was named CNE Player of the Year and, along with classmate Brianne Foley, was named to the CNE First Team. Porcic, meanwhile, was tabbed CNE Coach of the Year while Jaffray went on to earn Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-America honors.
JWU finished the 2024-25 campaign with a 23-3 record and the No. 1 seed in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament. Four student-athletes – Grace Jaffray, Isabella Suero, and Brianne Foley – all garnered all-conference honors with Jaffray garnering both GNAC Rookie of the Year and D3hoops.com Region 1 Rookie of the Year honors. Suero, meanwhile, led the nation with 99 triples while JWU as a whole led all of Division III with 282 three-pointers.
A four-year member of the UMass Dartmouth women’s basketball program (2018-23), Moretti was a three-time Little East First Team pick (2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23) who finished her career No. 2 in program history with 1,402 career points (12.3 ppg), along with 420 assists and 214 steals. She scored 409 points in 2022-23, which is the second-highest single season mark at UMD.
The Corsairs posted a combined record of 79-38 during Moretti’s time in North Dartmouth (.675 winning pct.) and advanced to the Little East Semifinals three times, reaching the finals in 2021-22. Moretti – who was named to the Little East All-Academic Team four times – was a 2022-23 College Sports Communications (CSC) Academic All-District selection as well as a D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team honoree.
Moretti received her bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2022 and her Master’s of Business Administration the following year. She spent the 2023-24 season as a member of the Wheaton (MA) College staff and is also a skills trainer with Worldwide Basketball Academy.
